Unmasked ArtHop | Bitwise Industries Event

Not all heroes can leap tall buildings in a single bound, or even wear masks and capes. Many use their powers and talents, their time and energy making the city they call home a little bit better.

Join us on Thursday, February 7 at 5pm for Unmasked, an ArtHop installation to shine a light on 26 of Fresno’s unsung heroes.

The Mother Teresa of Fresno, a rockstar attorney, an eighth grade teacher with superpowers … our heroes are dedicated to helping others shine and, in the process, remind us of all that is good in our corner of the world.

Human trafficking, veterans awareness, foster care education, bringing to life the identity of Central Californians before they even know it themselves – our heroes are tackling some of the biggest issues in our community and changing the fabric of Fresno.

To assemble the group of honored heroes, we solicited nominations from a broad diversity of Fresnans, asking only that they nominate people doing important, hard, and sometimes unnoticed work to better our city. We think you’re really going to enjoy meeting Fresno’s heroes.

Unmasked is an ArtHop collaboration between Bitwise Industries and Meza, led by Jake A. Soberal and Enrique Meza.
